The bar hosted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/newyork\/video\/uconn-vs-illinois-march-madness-watch-party-held-in-nyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">Final Four watch party<\/a> for the game against Illinois, and posted\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/100064629883885\/videos\/pcb.1362949692536014\/1571296467271218\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">a video of UConn fans celebrating<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bobby V&#8217;s in Downtown Stamford, Connecticut, expects to be packed. The sports bar sits a short walk from the UConn Stamford campus and says it will have the game on 200 TVs.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gonna be absolutely crazy. The phone are ringing off the hook. Everyone&#8217;s excited. We hope UConn wins,&#8221; Andrew Mallette said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Michigan bars in NYC<\/p>\n<p>Michigan Wolverines fans looking for a spot to watch the game in New York City can head to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blue Haven East on Third Avenue<\/li>\n<li>Brickyard Craft Kitchen &amp; Bar on Park Place<\/li>\n<li>Central Park Tavern on West 57th Street<\/li>\n<li>Shaffer&#8217;s on Eighth Avenue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Central Park Tavern said it&#8217;s expecting a packed house, &#8220;with fans bringing that Ann Arbor energy into the city.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The matchup<\/p>\n<p>UConn has won 18 national championships since 1995, including men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s basketball. Since most current UConn students are in their late teens to early 20s, that means the Huskies have dominated college basketball for the entirety of their lives.<\/p>\n<p>This is the Huskies&#8217; third appearance in the NCAA championship game in the last four years under head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/uconn-coach-dan-hurley-duke-march-madness-final-four\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dan Hurley<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines, under head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/detroit\/news\/dusty-may-leads-michigan-into-programs-first-final-four-since-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dusty May<\/a>, are trying to win the program&#8217;s second NCAA men&#8217;s basketball national championship.
