{"id":709447,"date":"2026-04-06T20:23:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T20:23:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/709447\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T20:23:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T20:23:14","slug":"howard-stern-sued-by-ex-assistant-as-she-exposes-alleged-hostile-work-environment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/709447\/","title":{"rendered":"Howard Stern sued by ex-assistant as she exposes alleged hostile work environment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern, are being sued by their former assistant for allegedly creating a hostile work environment.<\/p>\n<p>The couple\u2019s ex-executive assistant Leslie Kuhn states she started working at their 20,000 square foot Southampton mansion in New York at their request in May 2024, in documents obtained by Page Six.<\/p>\n<p>Kuhn says Beth needed help in managing the staff of the mansion and managing household operations, including Beth\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2017\/08\/08\/beth-stern-has-fostered-more-than-400-cats\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cextensive at-home feline rescue and fostering operations.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kuhn claims that despite getting a letter in December 2025 from Howard\u2019s production company stating that she would be getting a raise to $265,000 and an $80,000 bonus in 2026, she was fired in February.<\/p>\n<p>Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern, are being sued by their ex-assistant Leslie Kuhn for allegedly creating a \u201chostile work environment.\u201d They\u2019re pictured here in August 2025. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>According to the docs, Kuhn says she was fired because of \u201ca hostile work environment\u201d and \u201cimmense pressures on the household created by irresponsible and untenable animal rescue and fostering operations occurring on-site, and massively disorganized and questionable business operations and accounting practices.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also claims Howard\u2019s production company presented her with a non-disclosure agreement that she denies ever signing. Kuhn claims that both the reasons she was fired and the NDA were \u201cmanufactured by the Defendants in general and Beth Stern in particular.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Kuhn, the NDA \u2014 which she\u2019s asking the court to make unenforceable \u2014 not only silences her from speaking about her employment and how she was terminated, but also permits Howard and Beth to speak freely about her.<\/p>\n<p>Kuhn also states Howard\u2019s production company presented her with an NDA she claims she never signed. Back in May 2016, she told Page Six she was <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2016\/05\/10\/beth-and-howard-stern-are-trying-to-make-cats-cool\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fostering 17 cats in her home.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kuhn is asking the court to make the NDA unenforceable. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRight now I have 17 cats in my house that I rescued and I\u2019m fostering,\u201d she said. \u201c[Howard] is always the one who says, \u2018Come on and bring them in.\u2019 It\u2019s kitten season so we\u2019re in high gear.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think cats have a hard time,\u201d she added. \u201cMy husband and I are trying to make cats cool and it\u2019s working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beth is the national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America, the world\u2019s largest no-kill animal rescue organization.
