\n\tRapper Offset was shot<\/a> in Hollywood, Florida on Monday, and is currently in stable condition.<\/p>\n

\n\tA spokesperson for Offset<\/a> said in a statement to Variety that he\u2019s being treated for the gunshot wound and is currently under observation. \u201cWe can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care,\u201d said the rep. \u201cHe is stable and being closely monitored.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDetails are relatively scarce surrounding the incident, but TMZ<\/a> reported on Monday evening that the Migos member was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida.<\/p>\n

\n\tA rep for the Seminole Police Department said in a statement to TMZ: \u201cWe are aware of an incident that occurred at a valet area after 7 p.m. Monday outside of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood that resulted in non-life threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe rep added, \u201cSeminole Police were on site immediately and the situation was contained quickly. Two individuals have been detained by police. The investigation is ongoing. The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 34-year-old, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, rose to prominence over the past decade-and-a-half as one-third of Migos alongside Quavo and Takeoff. The trio became one of the defining rap groups of the past decade with multiple hits including \u201cBad and Boujee\u201d and albums like \u201cCulture.\u201d In 2019, he went solo with his debut studio album \u201cFather of 4,\u201d followed by 2023\u2019s \u201cSet It Off\u201d and 2025\u2019s \u201cKiara.\u201d Last year, he also released his \u201cHaunted by Fame\u201d album featuring YoungBoy Never Broke Again, NoCap and Lil Dump.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn 2022, his cousin Takeoff was shot and killed in Houston at the age of 28. In a cover interview with Variety the following year, Offset opened up about his grief, sharing how difficult it was to discuss it. \u201cI get through my day thinking it\u2019s fake.
