Adam didn\u2019t strike out any batters on Wednesday and has just one against two walks, but he\u2019s turned in five scoreless innings (2 H, 2 BBs) with El Paso.<\/p>\n<p>Adam is returning from last year\u2019s season-ending left quad surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Left-hander<strong> Marco Gonzales<\/strong> (1-1, 7.24 ERA) allowed 10 runs \u2014 four earned \u2014 on 13 hits in 3\u2154 innings in the loss.<\/p>\n<p>Third baseman <strong>Mason McCoy<\/strong> (.617 OPS) drove in three runs on his first homer.<\/p>\n<p>Shortstop <strong>Sung-Mun Song<\/strong> (.656 OPS), also on a rehab assignment while returning from an oblique injury, went 1-for-4 with a run scored.<\/p>\n<p>El Paso is 5-6.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday\u2019s scoreboard<\/p>\n<p><strong>DOUBLE-A SAN ANTONIO (1-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.milb.com\/gameday\/hooks-vs-missions\/2026\/04\/08\/817256\/final\/box\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Corpus Christi 9, Missions 6 (11):<\/a> LHP <strong>Jagger Haynes<\/strong> (16.20 ERA) walked three and allowed four runs \u2014 three earned \u2014 in 1\u2154 innings in the start. Missions pitchers combined to issue 12 walks. DH <strong>Tirso Ornelas<\/strong> (.375 OPS) went 1-for-4 with a double and three strikeouts.
