LEMON GROVE: Local Lions Club marks 10th year \u2026 The Lemon Grove Lions Club celebrates its 10th anniversary serving the community. Over the past decade, the club has collected hundreds of used eyeglasses for global vision programs, removed graffiti and volunteered at local trash clean-up events, food distributions and eye clinics. The club also provides financial support to nonprofits such as Fisher House, the Center for the Blind, and Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and to Lemon Grove youth sports, the YANA program to help seniors who live alone and the restoration of the historic Sonshine House in Lemon Grove. The group\u2019s motto is \u201cWe Serve.\u201d The club meets at 6 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. Courtesy of Lemon Grove Lions Club<\/p>\n
