PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A man has died after he was stabbed during a fight earlier this week in north Phoenix, and police are searching for the suspect responsible.<\/p>\n

Around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to an apartment complex in the area of 28th Drive and Cactus Road<\/a>, just west of Interstate 17. They soon found a man with serious injuries, who was rushed to the hospital.<\/p>\n

He died a short time later. Police have since identified him as 32-year-old Steven Martin Salas.<\/p>\n

Detectives believe Salas and an unknown suspect were fighting before it escalated into a stabbing. The suspect was gone before police arrived.<\/p>\n
