The winger and the French club are set for new contract talks in the coming weeks that could make him one of the top 5 highest paid players at PSG.

On the surface, there is no harm with shooting for the stars, but the time spent on chasing Barcola might have been better used on more realistic targets. Still, it is hard to knock a club for at least trying when it is trying to transition to a new era — and also trying desperately to find a new left-wing.

Looking for more thoughts and discussion on Bayern Munich’s recent rejections with bids on on VfB Stuttgart’s Nick Woltemade and Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, plus some talk about the heat that Max Eberl and the fellas are facing — plus a discussion on why Nestory Irankunda might not have worked out and also why Bayern needs to be on high alert with Paul Wanner?
