As Indiana continues to negotiate with the talent-filled WNBA free agency class, the Fever are reportedly signing former Golden State Valkyries<\/a> forward Monique Billings, according to Forbes WNBA reporter Roberta Rodrigues.<\/p>\n

Billings averaged 7.3 points on 44.7% shooting during her lone season in the Bay Area. The UCLA alum also averaged 4.5 rebounds per game in 26 games played and eight starts.<\/p>\n

Per Rodrigues’ report, Billings met with the New York Liberty during the WNBA’s free agency negotiation period, but Billings opted for the chance to join the Fever.<\/p>\n

In her eight-season WNBA career thus far, Billings has averaged 6.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game on 44.5% field goal shooting and 75.6% free-throw shooting. Billings has played in 239 career WNBA regular-season games and started 66.<\/p>\n

Adding to the benefits of the signing, Billings has prior playing experience alongside Caitlin Clark during their time together on Team USA.<\/p>\n

If the reports are correct, the Fever would add a rim-runner and depth to their frontcourt options to pair alongside Clark.<\/p>\n
