{"id":721192,"date":"2026-04-11T20:15:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T20:15:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/721192\/"},"modified":"2026-04-11T20:15:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T20:15:14","slug":"silver-alert-activated-for-77-year-old-man-in-los-angeles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/721192\/","title":{"rendered":"Silver Alert Activated for 77-Year-Old Man in Los Angeles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The California Highway Patrol has activated a Silver Alert to help Los Angeles police locate a 77-year-old man missing from the Beverly Grove area.<\/p>\n<p>Ren Jan Yu was last seen at about 4:15 p.m. Friday at West Third Street and La Cienega Boulevard, according to the CHP.<\/p>\n<p>He is 5-feet-6 inches tall, 112 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt, light-colored vest, light-colored pants and dark-colored shoes.<\/p>\n<p>The CHP activates Silver Alerts to help locate missing, at-risk seniors or people with cognitive impairments.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with any information regarding Yu or his whereabouts was urged to call 911, or the Los Angeles Police Department\u2019s Wilshire station at 213-473-0476. Calls during non-business hours or on weekends can be made to 877-527-3247.
