{"id":722676,"date":"2026-04-12T12:10:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T12:10:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/722676\/"},"modified":"2026-04-12T12:10:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T12:10:13","slug":"four-arrested-in-the-murder-of-teenager-evyatar-azarzar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/722676\/","title":{"rendered":"Four arrested in the murder of teenager Evyatar Azarzar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" album=\"true\" data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">Detectives from the Tel Aviv District Major Crimes Unit arrested four suspects this morning (Sunday) on suspicion of involvement in the 2019 murder of the teenager Evyatar Azarzar z&#8221;l, following a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.israelnationalnews.com\/news\/425242\" target=\"_blank\" data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">breakthrough in the investigation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">The four will later today be brought before a court for a hearing on the police request to extend their detention.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" album=\"true\" data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">According to a report by Channel 13 News, some of the suspects have already served prison sentences for other crimes they committed and are well known to law enforcement authorities.<\/p>\n<p data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">Last Thursday it was reported that a breakthrough had been made in the investigation, and the court imposed a gag order on all details of the investigation and on the new information that led to the development.<\/p>\n<p data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">Azarzar\u2019s body was discovered in December 2019 in a pit near the cemetery at the Morasha Junction, riddled with bullets. He was an 18-year-old resident of Bnei Brak at the time of his death.<\/p>\n<p data-v-fb708951=\"\" data-v-71e662ef-s=\"\">The discovery came after about three weeks of intensive searches following his disappearance.
