KANSAS CITY, Mo. \u2014 The start of Sunday\u2019s Chicago White Sox game against the Kansas City Royals at Kauffman Stadium has been delayed because of rain.<\/p>\n

The game was scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will provide an updated first pitch time when it is made available,\u201d the Royals wrote on social media<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Pitching has dominated this series, with the Sox winning Thursday 2-0<\/a> and then losing both Friday and Saturday by scores of 2-0<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Grant Taylor is slated to serve as the opener on Sunday for the Sox, with Jonathan Cannon in line as the bulk pitcher. The Sox recalled Cannon from Triple-A Charlotte before Sunday\u2019s game, optioning pitcher Duncan Davitt<\/a> to Charlotte.<\/p>\n
