\n\tDolly Martinez, who appeared in the tenth season of TLC<\/a>\u2018s My 600-Lb. Life<\/a>, has died at the age of 30.<\/p>\n

\n\tHer sister, Lindsey Cooper, released a statement about her death on Facebook<\/a> yesterday.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beautiful sister, Dolly,\u201d she wrote. \u201cDolly had the brightest personality she could light up any room with her laughter, her kindness, and her loving spirit. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and her warmth will stay with us forever. While our hearts are broken here, I find comfort in knowing she is now reunited with our dad in heaven. I can only imagine the joy of that reunion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCooper concluded: \u201cRest peacefully, Dolly. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never forgotten.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a social media post<\/a> made shortly prior, Cooper had acknowledged that Martinez was in the hospital \u201cfighting for her life.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tHailing from Fort Worth, Texas, Martinez appeared as a 25-year-old in a 2022 episode of the hit reality series, which follows people with severe obesity as they pursue methods to lose weight and often undergo bariatric surgery. At the beginning of her episode, she weighed 593 pounds and relied on supplemental oxygen. She lost 40 pounds on the series, but was ultimately not approved for a weight-loss procedure after meeting with Dr. Nowzaradan.<\/p>\n

\n\tMartinez is among the over two dozen people featured in the show who have since died.
