The winner will face the No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Should the Suns advance past the play-in, they would play <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/NBAPR\/status\/2043523642349256986?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Game 1 of the first round<\/a> of the NBA playoffs on the road on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s play-in matchup will mark the Suns\u2019 first appearance in the play-in tournament. The Suns (45-37) locked themselves in as the <a href=\"https:\/\/arizonasports.com\/nba\/phoenix-suns\/suns-clinch-no-7-seed\/3617310\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">seventh seed<\/a> in the play-in tournament with a win against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
