JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 A Mandarin business owner is speaking out after a smash-and-grab burglary at his trading card store left him reeling and rebuilding.<\/p>\n

Surveillance video from Rally Point Cards (press play below to watch<\/b>) shows a suspect throwing what appears to be a brick through the front window, then rushing into the store wearing a hoodie and a face covering. <\/p>\n

In less than two minutes, the person grabbed handfuls of Pok\u00e9mon cards \u2014 including a rare Los Angeles Dodgers-themed card valued at $500 \u2014 and disappeared.<\/p>\n

Owner Jamey Neher told News4JAX reporter Briana Brownlee<\/a> and photojournalist Jesse Hanson that the suspect got away with roughly $5,000 worth of inventory.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s all the inventory. We have to rebuild now,\u201d Neher said. \u201cSo that money we were going to use for security now will have to be used to regrow this inventory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neher opened the store just three months ago and said he was in the process of upgrading his security system at the time of the break-in.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s now sharing close-up surveillance images of the suspect in the hope that someone will recognize them and contact authorities.<\/p>\n

The incident isn\u2019t isolated. Multiple trading card shops across Florida have been targeted in recent months. While police have not confirmed any connection between the burglaries, Neher believes they\u2019re related.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is like our first jump into the real side of business,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a process. I spend hours every day building this, and someone came and wiped it out very quickly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the setback, Neher remains optimistic and says community support has helped him stay focused on rebuilding.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not going to break me,\u201d he said. \u201cIt happens everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

At this time, the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office has not released any suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
