Holmes noted Borom\u2019s experience and placed him in a group with edge rusher D.J. Wonnum of new additions who make it less necessary for the Lions to force picks at either spot. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re talking about guys <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mlive.com\/lions\/2026\/04\/5-takeaways-from-detroit-lions-gm-brad-holmes-pre-draft-press-conference.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">that have been starters<\/a> in the NFL,\u201d Holmes said, via Benjamin Raven of MLive.com. \u201cBut just kind of look at where the trend is going, where the arrow is going the last time, they\u2019re still young.
