Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham have sparked reunion rumors with seemingly coordinated Instagram posts.<\/p>\n
The musicians famously dated in the late \u201960s and made the 1973 studio album \u201cBuckingham Nicks.\u201d Shortly after, Nicks, 77, and Buckingham, 75, joined Fleetwood Mac.<\/p>\n

However, the duo famously split while recording the band\u2019s 1977 album \u201cRumours.\u201d<\/p>\n

Getty Images<\/p>\n The pair recently began following each other on Instagram, and on Thursday, Nicks posted a handwritten lyric<\/a> from \u201cFrozen Love,\u201d a love song off of \u201cBuckingham Nicks.\u201d<\/p>\n The image read, \u201cAnd if you go forward \u2026\u201d<\/p>\n Shortly after, Buckingham completed the lyric with his own handwritten message that read<\/a>, \u201cI\u2019ll meet you there.\u201d<\/p>\n Fleetwood Mac performs at the Forum. Mark Sullivan<\/p>\n Fans flocked to the comments section of both posts, excited about the possibility of something brewing.<\/p>\n One follower wrote, \u201cWhat in the silver springs is going on around here!!!!\u201d while a second chimed in, \u201cno because what is going on in this house.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cBuckingham nicks in 2025 was not on my bingo card,\u201d a third person added. \u201cDID WE KISS AND MAKE UP? A girl can dream.\u201d<\/p>\n However, this wouldn\u2019t be Buckingham\u2019s first reunion with a Fleetwood Mac member in recent months.<\/p>\n In March, the guitarist reunited with\u00a0Mick Fleetwood<\/a>. Buckingham was a guitarist in his rock band Fritz, and asked Nicks to join as their lead singer.<\/p>\n After leaving Fritz and launching their own band, Buckingham Nicks, the couple moved to Los Angeles. Around the same time as their late \u201970s breakup, Fleetwood Mac\u2019s John McVie and Christine McVie ended their marriage<\/a>. <\/p>\n Nicks went on to write \u201cDreams,\u201d while Buckingham penned \u201cGo Your Own Way\u201d on the group\u2019s \u201cRumours\u201d album.<\/p>\n Over the years, the two have taken jabs at one another in the media.<\/p>\n Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. WireImage<\/p>\n In 1997, Nicks told\u00a0Rolling Stone<\/a> that she \u201cresented\u201d lyrics Buckingham penned in \u201cGo Your Own Way,\u201d with lines insinuating the singer was \u201cpacking up, shacking up\u201d with different men after their breakup.<\/p>\n \u201cHe knew it wasn\u2019t true. It was just an angry thing that he said. Every time those words would come onstage, I wanted to go over and kill him,\u201d explained Nicks. \u201cHe knew it, so he really pushed my buttons through that. It was like, \u2018I\u2019ll make you suffer for leaving me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Then, when Fleetwood Mac was honored at the 2018 MusiCares benefit gala, an argument ensued that ended with Buckingham being fired from the band<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fleetwood Mac performs.
