Thomas has always been one of the more divisive players in the NBA, with a legion of dedicated fans and some league personnel being less convinced of his ability to drive winning. <\/p>\n
That divide often spills over into social media, and now Thomas has jumped into the middle of that feet-first.<\/p>\n
Brooklyn\u2019s leading scorer, Thomas has always been defensive about his defense, but particularly sensitive about his passing \u2014 or perceived lack thereof.<\/p>\n
The 23-year-old shooting guard has made strides in that area, and actually handed out ten assists in his final game this past season before being shut down with a hamstring injury after just 25 appearances. <\/p>\n

And Thomas cited the Nets\u2019 play before he went down as proof of his positive contributions on the floor \u2014 and to take what could be perceived as a subtle dig at Brooklyn general manager Sean Marks.<\/p>\n

When Netswire\u2019s Sharif Phillips-Keaton cited Lowe\u2019s criticism and pointed out that Thomas was one of only a dozen guards that averaged 24 points and 3.8 assists while shooting at least 43.8 percent last season, the young Net reposted it it.<\/p>\n
