The Mets managed just one win on the entire trip, and this defeat now puts them a game behind Philadelphia in the National League East standings.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.baseball-reference.com\/players\/p\/peterda01.shtml?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=metsmerizedonline.com&amp;utm_campaign=2025-06-22_br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">David Peterson<\/a><\/strong> got the start and opened strong, holding the Phillies scoreless until things unraveled in the fourth.
