CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was shot and seriously injured while sitting in his car on Chicago’s Northwest Side on Friday night, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said officers responded to the shooting near West Division Street and North Harding Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood around 10:45 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 20-year-old man was in his vehicle when male suspects pulled up in a dark-colored SUV, police said. Someone in the back seat took out a gun and opened fire, striking the victim in the stomach and arm.<\/p>\n

Police said the Chicago Fire Department responded to the scene and transported the man to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.<\/p>\n

Area Five detectives are investigating. Authorities did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.<\/p>\n
