Richardson takes over from Interim CFO Mark Weinsten, who joined the company to help lead its finance function through the initial phase of its post-acquisition transformation. <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/the-last-word-neiman-marcus-group-ceo-on-neimans-2-65b-acquisition-by-saks-fifth-avenue-parent-hbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saks Global acquired Neiman Marcus Group<\/a> in December 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Richardson and Weinsten will work together to ensure a smooth transition, the company said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrandy is the right leader to drive Saks Global\u2019s financial performance as we execute on our ambitious transformation strategy,\u201d Saks Global Operating Group CEO Marc Metrick said in a statement. He added that her leadership and perspective would help position the company for \u201clong-term sustainable growth and value creation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Richardson brings nearly 25 years of experience in finance and luxury retail. Most recently, she served as executive vice president and CFO of Tailored Brands Inc., a position she has held since 2021. Before that, she spent 15 years in finance leadership roles at Neiman Marcus Group.<\/p>\n<p>Saks said Richardson has a strong track record of building finance teams and leading strategic initiatives that drive profitability and growth in the luxury sector.<\/p>\n<p>Metrick also credited Weinsten with playing a key role during a pivotal moment for the company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMark has provided critical direction to develop and implement our finance strategy following the NMG acquisition,\u201d Metrick said. \u201cWe are grateful for his stewardship during this transformational time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Richardson said she\u2019s energized by the opportunity to return to luxury retail at a company undergoing major change.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSaks Global is poised to shape the future of luxury retail, and I\u2019m thrilled to join this forward-thinking team,\u201d she said. \u201cMy years with NMG were foundational to my career, and I look forward to helping drive the company\u2019s future success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Quincy Preston contributed to this report.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss what\u2019s next.
