{"id":738967,"date":"2026-04-19T15:20:41","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T15:20:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/738967\/"},"modified":"2026-04-19T15:20:41","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T15:20:41","slug":"all-the-classic-gaming-news-from-the-past-week-april-19th-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/738967\/","title":{"rendered":"All The Classic Gaming News From The Past Week (April 19th 2026)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Turns Out Zelda: Twilight Princess Is Getting Not One But Two Native PC Ports<\/p>\n<p>Remarkably, it appears there&#8217;s not just one but two native PC ports currently in development for <strong><a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.timeextension.com\/games\/gamecube\/legend_of_zelda_twilight_princess\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, we published <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.timeextension.com\/news\/2026\/04\/the-legend-of-zelda-twilight-princess-is-getting-a-native-pc-port\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a brief overview of Courage Reborn on the site<\/a>, reviewing some of the new information revealed in <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/mNz4KMvy578?si=SGFvXYU4a9R5XU6X\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">a recent &#8220;first look&#8221; video<\/a> from the project lead, Linifadomra.<\/p>\n<p>However, since then, we&#8217;ve been alerted to another PC port of the game in development, called <strong>Dusk<\/strong>, thanks to <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/AWbt6TwYFCc?si=2kQJpShqwNJ1xE9u\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">a brand-new announcement trailer from the team behind the project<\/a>, and a pair of new videos from YouTubers like <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/dSoGwi7kSQY?si=ZR3ubS5w9K-oR0nt\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Video Game Esoterica<\/a> and <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/5qzCZwioICc?si=IHs6gRJtPADuI6k1\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">BeenTachi<\/a>, featuring additional footage and insights from the developers.<\/p>\n<p>Sigma Star Saga DX Updated After Violating GBA Emulator&#8217;s License<\/p>\n<p>The credits for WayForward Games&#8217; digital release of <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3281520\/Sigma_Star_Saga_DX\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Sigma Star Saga DX<\/strong><\/a> have been updated after it came to light that the game had violated the license of the GBA emulator, <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mgba-emu\/mgba\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">mGBA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>mGBA is available under <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mgba-emu\/mgba?tab=MPL-2.0-1-ov-file#readme\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">an MPL 2.0 license<\/a>, meaning anyone who wants to use an unmodified version of the emulator can do so; all they need to do is credit it and provide a link to the source.
