Carlos Alcaraz won his 21st career title after defeating Jiri Lehecka in the final of the Queen\u2019s Club Championships. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Alcaraz defeated Lehecka<\/a> over three sets to lift the trophy for the second time in two years, improving his winning streak to 18 matches. <\/p>\n

The Spaniard is also on a 12-match winning streak on grass, which dates back to Wimbledon<\/a> last year, where he emerged victorious at the All England Club for the second year in a row. <\/p>\n

Having won the fourth grass-court tournament of his career just weeks after clinching his second consecutive Roland Garros title, it\u2019s not clear which surface is Alcaraz<\/a>\u2018s best.<\/p>\n

Following his triumph over the Czech star, the five-time Grand Slam champion gave the answer.<\/p>\n

In his post-match press conference, Alcaraz was asked: \u201cYou seem to be doing really well on grass. Is it now becoming one of your favourite surfaces to play on?<\/p>\n

The Queen\u2019s<\/a> champion responded: \u201cI mean, I can\u2019t say no. I cannot say no (smiling).<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we just play two tournaments per year on grass, but yeah, I\u2019m just feeling great. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s my favourite surface.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s clay right now. But I feel at home every time that I play on grass, so I think it\u2019s a great feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carlos Alcaraz explains the difficulty in change from clay to grass<\/p>\n

Alcaraz said of the change from the clay season to the grass season: \u201cWell, yeah, it\u2019s really, yeah, I\u2019m going to say it\u2019s really complicated, switch from clay to grass in just a few days, because that\u2019s the time I had before the tournament began. <\/p>\n

\u201cJust two days of practicing, and then I had to compete here. So I came here with no expectations at all.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI just came here with a goal to play two, three matches, try to feel great on grass moving, and, you know, give myself the feedback of what I have to improve, what I have to do better.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut, you know, I just got used to the grass really quick, and I\u2019m just really proud about it. My goal was complete, and I\u2019m not talking about lifting the trophy or making the final. It was just to feel great, to feel really comfortable on grass once again.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo what I\u2019m more proud about this week is the way that I have been improving every day. You know, since the first day until today, I think I\u2019m a different player on grass. <\/p>\n

\u201cJust, as I said, got used to it really quick, and that\u2019s the thing that I\u2019m most proud about.\u201d<\/p>\n
