They say elk have entered the store on two separate occasions recently.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers were as surprised as we were,\u201d the owners wrote in their email to the station. \u201cIt\u2019s the kind of moment that feels uniquely \u2018Estes\u2019 \u2014 where nature and tourism meet in the most unpredictable (and hilarious) ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1752882850_572_\" alt=\"1000126434 (1).jpg\"  width=\"1084\" height=\"1440\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Sweatshirt Center<\/p>\n<p>The elk walked through the lobby of the store and checked out the items on sale \u201cas if it were just another tourist looking for a hoodie or a mug,\u201d the owners wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The Sweatshirt Center is located at the heart of the main drag in Estes Park\u2019s quaint downtown. It sells sweatshirts and other clothing as well as other mountain-themed novelties.<\/p>\n<p>            <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/1752882851_332_\" alt=\"1000126437 (1).jpg\"  width=\"1280\" height=\"1269\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Sweatshirt Center<\/p>\n<p>Estes Park is known as the elk capital of the world for its massive population of the iconic ungulate.
