On Sunday, the Main Library on Laura Street and the Legends Center will remain open as designated cooling centers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">To remove transportation barriers, the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) is offering free rides to and from any cooling center. Residents need to tell the bus driver they\u2019re heading to or from a cooling center to receive free transportation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cThey\u2019re available for anybody in the community,\u201d Joshi said. \u201cThere\u2019s always the folks that their AC just goes out for whatever reason, and they\u2019re not able to get somebody to come and fix it.
