Following the recent announcement of a joint $500,000 donation<\/a> from FC Dallas, Austin FC, Houston Dynamo FC and Major League Soccer to support Central Texas flood relief, FC Dallas is launching a series of its own additional initiatives to provide ongoing support for families impacted by the July 4 floods.<\/p>\n

The statewide death toll from the flooding had risen to 135 as of Thursday, Gov. Greg Abbott announced<\/a>, and dozens more remain missing.<\/p>\n

Beginning July 19, FCD will feature an on-field stencil to honor the victims of the flooding, with the tribute to remain on the field for the remainder of the 2025 season. <\/p>\n

The club also announced that its game-worn legacy kits, a throwback jersey set to debut in the team\u2019s July 19 match against St. Louis City SC<\/a>, will be auctioned off postgame with proceeds benefiting flood relief and recovery efforts. FCD and St. Louis will each wear a dedicated patch on their kits to honor the victims of the tragedy. <\/p>\n

FC Dallas players and staff will also be wearing green tribute t-shirts upon arrival at the stadium to honor the 27 campers and counselors from the all-girls Camp Mystic<\/a> who were killed in the Kerr County flood.<\/p>\n

Fans in attendance at the game can purchase 30th anniversary commemorative match posters for $5 at retail locations throughout Toyota Stadium, with the proceeds benefiting flood relief efforts.<\/p>\n

All of these initiatives will debut at the July 19 home match vs. St. Louis City SC in Frisco.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis tragedy has deeply impacted our community, our club, and our hearts,\u201d FC Dallas President Dan Hunt said in a statement. \u201cWe are committed to honoring those we\u2019ve lost and supporting those who now face the long journey of healing and rebuilding.\u201d<\/p>\n
