The tower will overlook Tbilisi\u2019s Central Park, a major urban green space, rather than New York City\u2019s iconic park of the same name.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">Announced April 17, the project marks the first Trump\u2011branded development in the region and is expected to become the tallest building in Georgia, according to the developers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">Designed by architecture firm Gensler, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/trump-tower-couple-sue-after-getting-sex-complaints-11669007\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trump Tower<\/a> Tbilisi is planned as a landmark mixed\u2011use destination combining luxury residences, high\u2011end retail, world\u2011class dining and curated lifestyle amenities. Its chairman Ilia Tsulaia said the tower would help elevate Georgia\u2019s profile internationally.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">\u201cWith <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/new-trump-tower-australia-tallest-building-11571406\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trump Tower<\/a> Tbilisi, we are bringing that ambition to life in its most iconic form\u2014creating a landmark that will transform the skyline and elevate Georgia\u2019s presence on the global stage,\u201d Tsulaia said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">Biograpi Living CEO Vasil Pkhakadze described the development as part of a broader effort to reshape urban living in the country. The firm is backed by INVIA, one of Georgia\u2019s largest business groups, with operations spanning energy, retail and real estate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">Georgia has increasingly attracted international investors and second\u2011home buyers, with prime residential values in key areas of Tbilisi rising between 7 and 10 percent annually, according to the release. Developers compare the city\u2019s growth trajectory to emerging luxury markets such as Lisbon and early\u2011stage Dubai.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">The project also represents the first international commercial development for The Sapir Organization, a U.S.\u2011based real estate firm led by Alex Sapir, who cited personal ties to Georgia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">\u201cI am extremely proud and honored to be building our second Trump building in the country where my parents were born and raised,\u201d Sapir said, calling the tower a \u201chistoric achievement\u201d for the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_blockParagraph__I2kr4\">Developers said additional details on architecture, design and sales will be announced in the coming months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A new Trump Tower has been unveiled overlooking Central Park\u2014but not the one in Manhattan.
