Now you can help add one more.<\/p>\n<p>During <a href=\"http:\/\/phillytechweek.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philly Tech Week<\/a>, Mural Arts Philadelphia and local artist Sean Martorana are hosting interactive community paint sessions inside the Technical.ly Builders Conference. The work in progress: a new mural destined for a prominent wall in Old City, whose location will be announced that week.<\/p>\n<p>The mural is inspired by <a href=\"https:\/\/technical.ly\/civics\/philadelphia-future-vision-2276\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Technical.ly\u2019s 250-year vision for Philadelphia<\/a>, a project imagining what the city should look like in 2276. Among its most urgent themes: Honor no tool before the people it serves. Martorana is incorporating products from generations of inventors while symbolizing the people who make our creations possible.<\/p>\n<p>No painting experience necessary. Aprons and gloves provided.<\/p>\n<p>Details:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Friday, May 8 (Second day of the <a href=\"https:\/\/technical.ly\/entrepreneurship\/builders-conference-2026-speakers-tickets\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Technical.ly Builders Conference<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>Lunch: 12\u20131:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Painting session: 1:30\u20133:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Cost: Free for painting-only attendees; included for <a href=\"https:\/\/builders26.eventbrite.com\/?aff=site\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Builders Conference<\/a> ticket holders<\/li>\n<li>CYTO PHL, inside the Cira Centre, across from 30th Street Station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only 50 free painting-only spots are available, and we expect this to fill quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Martorana has been a longtime agitator for injecting arts into Philadelphia\u2019s tech and entrepreneurship circles, from <a href=\"https:\/\/technical.ly\/startups\/sean-martorana-mural-arcweb\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">styling otherwise drab tech offices,<\/a> contributing to Old City\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/technical.ly\/startups\/n3rd-street-official\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">N3rd Street identity<\/a> and the arts <a href=\"https:\/\/technical.ly\/startups\/indy-hall-arts-community-works-with-coworking-neighbors-art\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">inside Indy Hall<\/a>, the coworking community.\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Philadelphia has more public murals than any city in the country.
