Lev Radin\/Pacific Press\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>There were multiple controversies pointed to as possible <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/07\/17\/sports\/lloyd-howell-jr-resigns-as-nflpa-executive-director\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reasons for Howell\u2019s resignation<\/a> on Thursday, but ultimately, on Friday, ESPN reported the bombshell that Howell had been expensing strip club visits totaling over $3,000.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the NFLPA must find Howell\u2019s successor, and McAfee would like to see quite a switch-up in the role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe NFLPA needs a dawg that knows legitimate business and generating capital running the NFLPA,\u201d he wrote. \u201cWe need people that have empathy for the players who play\/played in the NFL and don\u2019t just view them as an annual fee.
