President Donald Trump<\/a> tried to dunk on his predecessor Joe Biden<\/a> on Tuesday as he weirdly hyped up his stair-climbing skills during a live interview with CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump, fueled by host Joe Kernen<\/a>\u2019s mere mention of Saudi Arabia, made a bizarre pivot to talk of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman giving him his \u201cfamous line\u201d about the U.S. no longer being a \u201cdead country\u201d before suggesting that America was a laughing stock under Biden.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe couldn\u2019t walk up a flight of stairs. Forget about down, he couldn\u2019t walk up a flight,\u201d said Trump of Biden in a likely nod to a viral 2021 video<\/a> showing his predecessor tripping multiple times on the boarding stairs to Air Force One.<\/p>\n

Trump continued, \u201cHe was falling all over the place. I have to be careful because if I do trip or fall, it\u2019s going to be the biggest \u2014 that\u2019s why when I get out of those planes, I walk nice and slowly. I\u2019m not looking to set any speed records.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Trump tried to talk up his ability to ascend steps, he neglected to mention that he, too, has stumbled on the boarding stairs to Air Force One.<\/p>\n

The president misstepped on his way up to the plane before regaining his balance with the help of a railing, in an embarrassing moment caught on camera in June 2025. (Check out Trump\u2019s pre-flight flub in the clip below.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In March 2025, Trump tripped on his way up the steps<\/a> to Marine One after helping Elon Musk\u2019s son, X \u00c6 A-Xii, board the chopper.<\/p>\n

Trump has recently fixated on his predecessors\u2019 stair-maneuvering abilities.<\/p>\n

Last month, Trump \u2014 in a speech where he bragged<\/a> about walking down \u201csoaking wet\u201d steel stairs \u2014 claimed he admired how Barack Obama<\/a> \u201cbobbed down\u201d the stairs during his time in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou talk about unpresidential,\u201d said Trump<\/a> to a crowd in Hebron, Kentucky.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s bob \u2014 and I couldn\u2019t believe that he made it without at least a noticeable major fall.\u201d<\/p>\n
