Armando Ramirez said. He said the collision caught the attention of several people near the Unconditional Surrender statue, an homage to the iconic photo of a sailor kissing a nurse to celebrate the end of World War II. It sits near the aircraft carrier, which is now a museum<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe got calls from witnesses,\u201d Ramirez said. \u201cIt made a lot of noise when it collided.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said the aircraft carrier museum did not appear to sustain significant damage.<\/p>\n<p>The fishing boat left the scene, the sergeant said. Harbor police intercepted it near the San Diego-Coronado Bridge. No one on the boat was injured.
