\n\tAfter he was accused of rape<\/a> in April, Shannon Sharpe<\/a> has reportedly settled the Jane Doe\u2019s civil lawsuit<\/a> on undisclosed terms.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe accuser\u2019s attorney Tony Buzbee announced Friday that the lawsuit will be dismissed now that they have \u201creached a mutually agreed upon resolution\u201d with the 3x Super Bowl champion and sportscaster.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOn April 20, 2025, The Buzbee Law Firm filed a complaint in Nevada making several allegations against Shannon Sharpe on behalf of our client,\u201d wrote Buzbee on X<\/a>. \u201cBoth sides acknowledge a long-term consensual and tumultuous relationship. After protracted and respectful negotiations, I\u2019m pleased to announce that we have reached a mutually agreed upon resolution. All matters have now been addressed satisfactorily, and the matter is closed. The lawsuit will thus be dismissed with prejudice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the April lawsuit, Sharpe denied the allegations and asserted that incidents of rape<\/a>, choking and more in the 13-page civil suit are being taken out of context and were consensual. His attorney called the complaint a \u201cblatant and cynical attempt to shake down<\/a> Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars.<\/p>\n

\n\tAttorneys for both sides confirmed that Sharpe had previously offered $10 million<\/a> in attempt to convince the accuser not to file the lawsuit.<\/p>\n
