James Messerschmidt<\/p>\n<p>Dewan, who has no prior arrests, is a stranger to the victim, law enforcement sources said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His arraignment in Queens Criminal Court was pending Wednesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dewan has worked for the DA\u2019s office since 2022.
