A 33-year-old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of murder after a person was found dead in a Lemon Grove home, sheriff\u2019s officials said.<\/p>\n
An assault involving a gun was reported about 4:05 a.m. at the home on Eldora Street, said sheriff\u2019s homicide Lt. Juan Marquez.<\/p>\n
Deputies arrived to the address and found Eric Nunez, a Lemon Grove resident, in the driveway and detained him. Deputies then entered the home and found a victim suffering from \u201csignificant traumatic injuries,\u201d Marquez said. The victim died at the scene.<\/p>\n
Investigators were working to verify the victim\u2019s identity and notify the person\u2019s family. Investigators did not release any further information, including the suspected cause of death.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe circumstances and motive surrounding the incident remain under investigation,\u201d Marquez said. He added that the incident appeared isolated.<\/p>\n
Nunez was booked into jail on one count of murder.
