CHICAGO (WLS) — One person is injured and two suspects are in custody after an Illinois State Police chase ended in a crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway on Saturday morning, officials said.<\/p>\n

ISP said around 7:30 a.m., troopers spotted a vehicle wanted in connection with a Cicero carjacking that had happened around 5:30 a.m. When troopers tried to stop the vehicle on southbound Interstate 94 at 75th Street, the driver fled.<\/p>\n

Troopers chased the driver, who crashed into another vehicle at 130th Street on Chicago’s South Side, ISP said.<\/p>\n

Two people who were inside the wanted vehicle fled the scene on foot, but police later took them into custody, ISP said.<\/p>\n

ISP said someone in the other vehicle was injured and taken to a local hospital.<\/p>\n

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.<\/p>\n
