RUNAWAY BAY, Texas<\/strong> – An apparent tornado tore a path through the town of Runaway Bay on Saturday night, according to officials.<\/p>\n What we know:<\/p>\n A photo shared by FOX 4 News viewer Chad Casey showed what appeared to be a funnel that was backlit by lightning near the town on the banks of Lake Bridgeport.<\/p>\n A FOX 4 News crew that arrived in the town about 50 miles northwest of Fort Worth found emergency vehicles along a highway, with power lines down and debris in the roadway.<\/p>\n The National Weather Service had issued a Tornado Warning for the area of Wise County where Runaway Bay is located at the time the damage happened. The NWS also warned people in the path of the storm of very large hail and damaging winds.<\/p>\n The powerful storm continued marching to the southeast where radar indicated a tornado was occurring south of Springtown. That is where officials in Parker County reported a structure had collapsed and two people may be trapped inside.<\/p>\n What we don’t know:<\/p>\n It is not clear if anyone has been seriously injured by the storm.<\/p>\n This is a developing story.
