Police said officers were called to Allen Parkway near Park Vista Drive at about 2 a.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, they found a 16-year-old shot multiple times.<\/p>\n

He was taken to the hospital where he was in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Police were investigating what led to the shooting, but they think the 16-year-old was caught in between a shootout.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur victim happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time,\u201d said Lt. Ali with the Houston Police Department.<\/p>\n

No suspect information had been released.<\/p>\n
