Too often, the conversation centers on intervention after harm has already occurred. But what if the most effective solution is also the most compassionate one, supporting parents, especially mothers, before crises arise?<\/p>\n<p>At Hushabye Nursery, we see every day that when mothers are supported, children are safer, healthier and more likely to thrive.<\/p>\n<p>Supporting mothers and fathers reduces the risk of child abuse and neglect by addressing the underlying conditions that place families at risk, and by strengthening the protective factors that support safe, stable caregiving.
