{"id":75585,"date":"2025-07-19T14:32:17","date_gmt":"2025-07-19T14:32:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/75585\/"},"modified":"2025-07-19T14:32:17","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T14:32:17","slug":"pedestrian-killed-while-walking-along-i-35-san-antonio-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/75585\/","title":{"rendered":"Pedestrian killed while walking along I-35, San Antonio police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No criminal charges are pending<\/p>\n<p>Police cars at night (KPRC\/Click2Houston.com)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 A pedestrian was killed on Friday night while walking along Interstate 35, according to San Antonio police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Around 9:20 p.m. Friday, the pedestrian was walking north in the 7000 block of I-35 South northbound main lanes, \u201cwhere pedestrians are prohibited,\u201d police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">A 2020 Ford EcoSport traveling north on the highway struck the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The pedestrian has not been identified as of Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The driver of the Ford EcoSport stopped to render aid and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
