(WVLT) &#8211; The American Eagle Foundation said the search remains ongoing for three bald eagles that went missing after a storm damaged an aviary at Dollywood. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Dollywood said on April 19 that an overnight storm caused a tree near Eagle Mountain Sanctuary to be uprooted, compromising the aviary.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">While 26 eagles were able to be relocated to the American Eagle Foundation headquarters in Kodak, three of the eagles escaped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><b>Previous Coverage: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wvlt.tv\/2026\/04\/21\/three-bald-eagles-missing-after-storm-damage-dollywood-sanctuary\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wvlt.tv\/2026\/04\/21\/three-bald-eagles-missing-after-storm-damage-dollywood-sanctuary\/\"><b>Three bald eagles missing after storm damage at Dollywood sanctuary<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link | text-reset d-block h-100 w-100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wvlt.tv\/page\/wvlt-news-and-weather-apps\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"wvlt\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/EAFJZDKWSJFMFGBA5C5FOEW7NM.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Lori Moore, the foundation\u2019s CEO, said the search remains ongoing for the missing eagles and thanked everyone for submitting tips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI want to thank everyone for the tips and leads that you have provided to us regarding the three eagles &#8211; Wesley, Caesar, and Rockland &#8211; that left the aviary at Eagle Mountain Sanctuary,\u201d Moore said. We have teams on the ground actively tracking them, but we also still need your help as they are still flighted birds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Moore also said the eagles can be identified with a band on their leg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"> \u201cSo, keep your eyes on the skies, and if you think you do see one of our eagles, they are identifiable primarily with a band that is located on one of their legs that is orange or black,\u201d Moore said. \u201cIf you do feel like you\u2019ve located one of our birds, please do not approach the bird, do not feed the bird, and please do not call 911.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Anyone who comes across a bird is asked to notify the foundation at 865-429-0157 or on <a href=\"https:\/\/eagles.org\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/eagles.org\/\">its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WVLT.
