High receiver\/safety <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/dj-davis-241395\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DJ Davis<\/a><\/strong> tells Rivals he has committed to Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Davis chose to play for head coach Luke Fickell and the Badgers over Penn State, West Virginia and Syracuse.<\/p>\n<p>Safeties coach Jack Cooper was the lead recruiter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWisconsin was the right fit for me to grow on and off the field,\u201d DJ Davis said. \u201cMy relationship with Coach (Jack) Cooper and Coach Fickell was the strongest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUltimately I believe in the plan Coach Coop has in place for me. He was honest with me from the jump and after visiting I know that Wisconsin is home. I\u2019m excited to be a part of the next great chapter of Wisconsin football!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis adds to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/wisconsin-badgers\/football\/2027\/commits\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wisconsin class Rivals previously ranked No. 19 nationally<\/a>. He visited Madison two weekends ago.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoach Fickell\u2019s defensive track record is elite,\u201d Davis added. \u201cThe ability to breakdown my plan to continue to develop as a three-sport guy who is now focusing on football was top of the line.
