PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — After a life-changing accident, Eric Wyatt decided to create a line of plush animals to help others bear their own burdens.<\/p>\n

With a little help, they can ‘Burden the Bear’ instead.<\/p>\n

Wyatt created bears for anxiety, PTSD, and various types of cancer among others. He also decided to branch out beyond simply ‘burdens.’<\/p>\n

For example, he created ‘Inspire the Bear’ to promote autism acceptance.<\/p>\n

Wyatt’s business partnered with so many nonprofits that he decided to start his own. ‘Lifting the Burden’ acts as a sidekick to ‘Burden the Bear,’ providing grants to organizations to help acquire their own plushies.<\/p>\n
