Ticketmaster has canceled thousands of tickets for Harry Styles<\/a>\u2019 30-night residency at New York City<\/a>\u2019s Madison Square Garden<\/a> that were bought by scalpers.<\/p>\n

In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday (April 22), Ticketmaster president Saumil Mehta revealed the company discovered scalpers used \u201cmultiple accounts and fake identities\u201d to purchase tickets with the intent of reselling for a profit. Those canceled tickets will soon be available for sale \u201cat the original price.\u201d<\/p>\n

Starting on April 30 at 12 p.m. ET, you can submit a request for tickets on Styles\u2019 Ticketmaster page<\/a>. \u201cSubmitting a request does NOT guarantee tickets,\u201d the company said. \u201cFans who don\u2019t yet have tickets to the NYC shows will be prioritized.\u201d This request window will last until 5 p.m. ET on May 1.<\/p>\n

If your request has been fulfilled, you will receive confirmation email, with seat details, by May 8 at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n

Mehta said those who bought tickets through Ticketmaster or received transferred or resale tickets will not be affected.<\/p>\n

On the Together, Together Tour, Styles will perform in six cities\u2014Amsterdam, London, S\u00e3o Paulo, Mexico City, New York, Melbourne, and Sydney\u2014from May through December. His run in Madison Square Garden spans from August 26 to October 31.<\/p>\n
