(WAFB) &#8211; Authorities said they\u2019ve arrested a couple accused of defrauding Louisiana\u2019s Medicaid program by nearly $135,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to Louisiana State Attorney General Liz Murrill\u2019s office, Phuc Pham, 36, of Slidell, is charged with two counts of government benefits fraud and one count of filing false public records. Her office said Tran Pham, 34, of Slidell, is charged with three counts of government benefits fraud and one count of filing false public records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">The couple allegedly underreported their incomes to receive Medicaid benefits, officials said. They added that the two are also accused of failing to report their marital status.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">The two suspects were booked on their charges into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Phuc Pham and Phuc Pham\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/WR2OBKLLGVE4BD7ISPA2ILXRJI.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Phuc Pham and Phuc Pham(Louisiana State Attorney General Liz Murrill&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">AG Murrill warned others about their fate if caught breaking the law.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">\u201cDefrauding Medicaid is stealing from the hardworking taxpayers of our state.
