The guard said the rapper showed up at the dispensary and became \u201chostile\u201d and \u201cverbally confrontational\u201d after being asked to show ID.<\/p>\n<p>In the suit, Jim claimed Offset struck him in the face, and others in his group also attacked him. He claimed he was hospitalized and continues to suffer from headaches and neck pain. He&#8217;s seeking unspecified damages for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.<\/p>\n<p>Offset&#8217;s rep previously accused the guard of causing the fight and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2025\/03\/14\/offset-punches-security-guard-dispute-med-men-lax-dispensary\/\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>claimed the man spat<\/strong><\/a> on the rapper.<\/p>\n<p>As TMZ first reported, Offset was charged with a misdemeanor count of simple battery. An arrest warrant was recalled after the rapper\u2019s lawyer showed up to court to plead not guilty.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Offset to Judge: I Didn&#8217;t Start Fight at L.A.
