Michael A. Tobin, 73, was convicted on two felony counts of criminal sexual abuse and aggravated battery\u00a0in Cook County Circuit Court in February, the village of Northbrook<\/a> stated in a press release<\/a>. He was sentenced to 24 months’ probation and\u00a0must\u00a0register\u00a0as a sex offender for 10 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n Tobin most recently worked as the senior vice president of real estate and construction at Rush Street Gaming<\/a> from December 2019 to December 2024, according to his LinkedIn<\/a>. He also worked as a managing director at CBRE<\/a> for five years after his previous company,\u00a0U.S. Equities Realty, was purchased by the firm in 2014, according to Crain’s Business Journal<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Tobin\u00a0worked on major projects<\/a> throughout Chicago during his career, including\u00a0the development of the\u00a0world’s largest Starbucks on the Magnificent Mile<\/a> and the expansion of the Steppenwolf Theatre, according to a biography.
