MINNEAPOLIS \u2013 The delicate dance with Aaron Gordon\u2019s tricky left calf continues.<\/p>\n
Denver\u2019s starting power forward is once again listed as questionable for Thursday\u2019s win-or-go-home Game 6 at Target Center. After missing Game 3, Gordon last played in Game 4 but had his minutes cut after halftime.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis mobility, the way he guarded (Julius) Randle in the post, we need that,\u201d Nuggets coach David Adelman said after a walkthrough Wednesday. \u201cI thought in the second half, you could see the wear and tear.\u201d<\/p>\n
Missing Game 5 gave Gordon an extra few days of recovery, but his status remains uncertain. Part of the issue comes down to the nature of the injury and the flow of the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019ve got to get him back on the court quicker. I think when you get to halftime and you sit there for 20 minutes, that doesn\u2019t help anybody,\u201d Adelman said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is a point where it\u2019s not good for him. It\u2019s not good for the team. Everybody knows Aaron wants to play. The guy is the ultimate teammate. He\u2019s been so good for us over the years, but we have to do what\u2019s right for him and the team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Peyton Watson, who remains out with a hamstring strain, is the only other player on Denver\u2019s injury report.<\/p>\n
Bones Hyland was added to Minnesota\u2019s injury report. The former Nuggets guard is questionable with left knee soreness, while Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo remain out.<\/p>\n
