For the release of this version last year, Nintendo added a storybook to this game for the first time. It focuses on\u00a0what led to Lubba becoming a spaceship captain. The original Super Mario Galaxy had its own storybook.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the official notice about the patch:<\/p>\n<p>Super Mario Galaxy 2 1.4.0 update patch notes<\/p>\n<p><strong>General<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Several issues have been fixed and adjustments made to ensure a smoother gaming experience on both Nintendo Switch\u00a02 and Nintendo Switch.<\/li>\n<li>A new story has been added to the storybook. Once Final Chapter is available in the storybook, you can read the new story by clearing any galaxy and earning a Power Star.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Keep in mind that the software must be updated to version 1.2.0 or later to be played on Nintendo Switch 2.<\/p>\n<p>This wasn\u2019t the only update tonight as there was also one for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
