Chet Hanks<\/strong><\/a> revealed that he has a new home in Nashville.<\/p>\n

The 35-year-old son of Tom Hanks<\/strong> and Rita Wilson<\/strong> visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a> on Tuesday, April 28, when host Jimmy Fallon<\/strong><\/a> asked him about moving to Nashville to pursue country music.<\/p>\n

When the late-night host, 51, noted that the Running Point actor now lives in \u201can RV park,\u201d Hanks explained that he didn\u2019t want to \u201cget an apartment because I literally just got a condo in L.A., and I furnished it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t want to do that again,\u201d he said, explaining that he was staying in Airbnbs and hotels in Nashville until that got \u201creally old.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Hanks explained that he was inspired to live in an RV after taking a roadtrip to the Bay Area and staying in an Airstream trailer.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a trailer. It\u2019s not an Airstream,\u201d he said, revealing that he got a Jayco Eagle RV instead. \u201cBut I\u2019m really happy with it<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI got my kitchen,\u201d he said. \u201cI got a walk-in shower \u2014 that\u2019s a big deal with trailers, if it\u2019s a walk-in shower because sometimes they combine the toilet and the shower.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Kimmel asked Hanks if he is friends with his neighbors, the Empire alum said, \u201cI\u2019m probably the youngest person<\/a> in the trailer park by like\u2026 probably by like 30 or 40 years!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not what you think,\u201d he explained of living in an RV park. \u201cYou think, \u2018Oh, you\u2019re gonna live in a trailer park. It might be a little sketchy. It might be a little dangerous.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Instead, he said, \u201cIt\u2019s all just retirees<\/a>, you know? Great people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI do have a campfire outside of it. I have a fire pit,\u201d he said. \u201cBut most of the time, I just do exactly what I do at home, which is just stay inside and lay in bed and watch Netflix and things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hanks is back home in the States after revealing in late February that he was stuck in Colombia<\/a> after going to Puerto Rico for a friend\u2019s birthday and making his way to Medell\u00edn before heading home.<\/p>\n

At the time, Hanks said he was traveling with his Greek passport because he is a dual citizen and his U.S. passport was \u201cabout to expire.\u201d<\/p>\n
