PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Look for sunshine and slightly above-average temperatures for your Friday in Phoenix. Morning temperatures in the 60s will warm to the low 90s this afternoon. A forecast high of 92 degrees is 3 degrees above normal. <\/p>\n
An area of low pressure continues to push east to the south of Arizona along the Mexico border. As this tracks east, high pressure will begin to build over the West. This will lead to a warmer weekend ahead, along with continued dry weather.<\/p>\n
In the Valley, expect mid 90s both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday will feature a bit more cloud cover and increased winds across the state. The Valley will see southerly winds between 10 and 20 mph. <\/p>\n
The winds will be driven by the approach of another closed low pressure system, which will begin to develop off the coast of California by Sunday. The low is forecast to move onshore early next week, bringing cooler temperatures and breezes to Arizona. There\u2019s a slight chance of rain in higher elevations, but at this point, rain in the Valley looks unlikely. <\/p>\n
Temperatures will drop back to the 80s for the first half of next week in Phoenix, but a climb to the 90s is likely for the second half of the week<\/p>\n
