UW-Eau Claire is second with 42 points, UW-Stout third with 27, UW-Stevens Point fourth with 19, UW-River Falls fifth with nine, UW-Oshkosh sixth with five, UW-Platteville seventh with four and UW-Whitewater eighth with two.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nUW-La Crosse won two individual titles during the opening day of events. Maya Evans was victorious in the long jump with a leap of 19-7 (5.97m). She also finished first in the event at the 2024 championship. Julia Zalewski secured the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:34.79.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nUW-Stout\u2019s Raegan Sorensen was a double winner, placing first in the javelin with a toss of 131-4 (40.04m) and pole vault with a height of 13-0 1\/4 (3.97m).<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nUW-Stevens Point\u2019s Faith Wehrman established a conference championship record in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 35:24.97. Her performance broke a WIAC record that was set in 1991 by UW-Parkside\u2019s Wendy Burman, who posted a time of 35:25.00.<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>&#13;<br \/>\nUW-Eau Claire\u2019s Kayla Behnke claimed the hammer throw with a fling of 186-8 (56.91m).
